Taco Bell's Fresco Menu

Fresco is a stylistic enhancement for various Taco Bell products in which the item's cheese and/or sauce is replaced by Fiesta Salsa. Fresco-style items are said to contain up to 50% less fat than their non-Fresco counterparts.

Fresco Menu

In 2003, Taco Bell introduced an entire menu of items served Fresco-style, all of which contain less than 9 grams of fat, including:

  • Fresco Crunchy Taco
  • Fresco Chicken Burrito Supreme
  • Fresco Beef Burrito Supreme
  • Fresco Bean Burrito
  • Fresco Chicken Fiesta Burrito
  • Fresco Soft Taco
  • Fresco Zesty Chicken Border Bowl
  • Fresco Grilled Steak Soft Taco
  • Fresco Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco

The Fresco Soft Taco with Beef that has7 grams fat, and 180 calories, the Fresco Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco with 4 grams fat, and 170 calories, and finally the Fresco Grilled Steak Soft Taco with 4.5 grams fat and 160 calories. Now most people would think that if you take away the cheese from a taco that it just won’t taste very good, but with the fiesta salsa it actually tastes very good. Now most people like cheese on their tacos and even if you add cheese then the total calories on your tacos on increases by 20 to 30 calories. By Melina Salazar

As of April of 2009, the Southwest Steak and the Zesty Chicken Border Bowls have been discontinued.
