The Cheese Extreme Quesadilla, as seen in a 2002 advertisement.

Taco Bell's Cheese Extreme Quesadilla was a menu item that ran throughout 2002, as a limited-edition promotion for the X-Games sporting event. It was a quesadilla loaded with mozzarella, cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, plus nacho cheese sauce on a grilled tortilla.

History Edit

Following the launch of chicken and steak quesadillas earlier in 2002, Taco Bell Corp. introduced a new Cheese Extreme Quesadilla. The "Xtreme Deal" promoted the Cheese Extreme Quesadilla and four collectible X-Games beverage cups. With the purchase of a Cheese Extreme Quesadilla Combo, customers got a Cheese Extreme Quesadilla, a crunchy taco, and a free X-Games collector cup for $2.99.[1]
