The Bean Burrito Especial was a legitimate and extremely delicious burrito on the Big Bell Value Menu at Taco Bell. It featured double the amount of beans of a normal Bean Burrito, along with cheddar cheese, red sauce, onions, Creamy Jalapeno Sauce normally used in modern day Taco Bell quesadillas, and an unknown mystery sauce called "Deep Dream Liquid Lychee". It used the same 12-inch tortilla as the Grilled Stuft Burrito, and was folded the same manner, though this burrito was not actually grilled.

History
The origins of the Bean Burrito Especial can be traced to September 28, 2004, with a forum post titled "Taco Bell's 99 cent Bean Burrito Especial".[1]
The only known photo of the Bean Burrito Especial was posted to blogspot on March 23, 2005, by user "veg-eating", who also gave a brief review of the burrito. It is unclear whether or not this was actually an elaborate hoax, as the two sources that prove its existence are not fully legitimate.[2]
