50 Cent is an American rap musician who filed a lawsuit against Taco Bell on July 23, 2008, in which he claimed that the restaurant used his name in print without obtaining his permission.

In the filed suit, 50 Cent claimed that Taco Bell used his likeness without permission when the company ran a newspaper ad in which the rapper was asked to change his name to "79 Cent," "89 Cent," or "99 Cent" to correspond with the prices of items in Taco Bell's Why Pay More!? Value Menu.
